Lodging & Directions

The Palen farm will be the location of the start/finish and pit-row area of Cruise the Blues, as well as the area for the band, concessions, and camping.  Participants can establish campsites in designated areas surrounding the start/finish and pit-row.  The farm has plenty of open grass space with massive oak trees for shade and shelter.  Come early to secure access to the best spots.  Portable restrooms and primitive shower facilities will be available on site.

Waconda Lake is located 12 miles north of the farm and offers plenty of traditional campsites with shower and restroom facilities.  Check it out at http://www.glenelder.com/waconda_lake.htm

Hotels and Motels can be found in surrounding towns.

Ringneck Ranch in Tipton is our preferred lodging facility.

What a great course.  Fast single-track, long grinder climbs to make you honest and no rocks like Eastern Kansas.
