The Palen farm is the location of the start / finish and pit row areas of Cruise the Blues, as well as the location of the concert, concessions, and camping. Participants can establish campsites in designated areas surrounding the start / finish and pit row areas. The farm has plenty of open grass space with massive oak trees for shade and shelter. Come early to secure access to the best spots! Portable restrooms and primitive shower facilities will be available on site if you need them. No electrical outlets are available. Generators are OK. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring anything larger than a family-sized tent. Waconda Lake is located 12 miles north of the farm and offers plenty of traditional campsites with shower and restroom facilities as well. You can check Waconda out by clicking here.
Many hotels and motels can be found in the surrounding towns, but we recommend the Ringneck Ranch in Tipton, Kansas.
